ABOUT THE FORUM

Thank you for joining us!

Please join us on March 27, 2023 at the RNA Nanomedicine for Regenerative Medicine and Cancer Breakthrough Forum, supported  by Medicine by Design’s Convergent Working Groups Award, The Allan Slaight Breakthrough Fund, the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research and the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, University Health Network. The forum will be hosted in person at the MaRS Discovery District Auditorium in Toronto, Ontario.

RNA-based technology, including mRNA vaccines and other therapeutics, have had a tremendous impact on human health recently, especially through the advent of mRNA-based COVID vaccines. Ontario has considerable expertise in this field, and we are making a big push to be a global leader in developing novel RNA-based medicines that will benefit our healthcare system and help millions of people around the globe. At this forum, we will address questions around the status of technology behind RNA therapeutics, critical gaps in knowledge and barriers to clinical adoption of RNA nanomedicine. These questions will revolve around selective targeting, personalization of therapy and strategies for moving these therapies safely to the clinic.

The day's agenda will be split equally between regenerative medicine and cancer-specific talks and panel discussions, featuring many esteemed international and local speakers.

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about where RNA research is headed and help shape its future in Ontario. Registration is free and open to all.
